Custom Art Quilts * mtabis@comcast.net * 708-707-7835
These art quilts are created using raw-edge appliqué of cotton fabric and synthetics such as tulle, organza and satin for textural interest. They are free-motion quilted and embellished with colorful threads and yarns.
Faces are thread-painted using free-motion quilting. Portraits may be embellished with your pet’s tags.
Back-view silhouettes are created from felted wool fabric, then shaded with fabric paint and oil pastels.
Each portrait measures 15 x 12 inches and is mounted on a 20 x 16-inch stretched canvas frame (not shown).
Customers may supply a photo, or request the artist to capture a pose of your pet for an additional fee.

What a wonderful article about you and your pet portrates. Yeah for you for getting your blog up, it looks great!
We saw these on Olive's blog -- they're gorgeous! I'll have to bookmark this, I bet my wife would love a quilt of Dennis and Tucker ...
